Privacy Policy

The app «Canasta Card Game: Hand & Foot» (iOS and Android, app.canasta.handfoot), developer NTSAUTOSIGA LLC. Last updated: October 7, 2026.

Playing against bots

Games against bots work fully offline. Nothing about them leaves your device.

What data we process for online play

• An anonymous account identifier. When you first open online play, an anonymous Firebase Authentication (Google) account is created. It contains no name, e-mail, phone number or password.
• The name and avatar you choose for the online table. Other players at your table see them.
• Online game data: rating, games played and won, and the moves of online games, stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore (Google) so the server can referee the game.

Microphone, camera and voice chat

• Microphone permission is requested when you sit down at an online table, not at launch. Camera permission is requested only when you press the camera button. Declining breaks nothing: the game goes on without voice or video.
• Voice can be switched off entirely («Talk at the table»). The camera is off by default and turns off when the app goes to the background.
• Voice and video are not recorded or stored, neither on the device nor on our servers. They are encrypted between the players' devices (DTLS-SRTP) and pass through our relay server, which sees only the encrypted stream and stores nothing. The relay is used so that players never see each other's IP addresses.
• There is no speech recognition, face recognition or analysis of what is said or shown.
• Any player can be muted with one tap.

Reports

If you report a player, we store the fact of the report: who reported whom, in which match and when. A player reported by three different people loses voice chat for a week. The conversation itself is not stored.

Video ads (Android only)

The Android version can show a video ad only when you ask for one: tap a locked table or card back and choose «Watch a video» to try it on for 24 hours. There are no banners and no ads that play by themselves; Canasta Club members are never offered ads. The iOS version has no ads at all.

• In Russia the video comes from the Yandex Advertising Network (Yandex Mobile Ads SDK), everywhere else from Google AdMob. If one network has no video, the other one may be asked.
• To show and measure the ad these networks receive device and network data such as the advertising ID, IP address, device model and OS version, and the interaction with the ad, under their own policies: Google, Yandex.
• Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA and the UK), Google's consent form is shown before the first video. You can reset or turn off the advertising ID in your Android settings.

What we do not collect

No analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking by us. We do not request your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, location, photos or payment details.

Purchases

The Canasta Club and tips are one-time purchases through the App Store or Google Play. The store processes the payment; the app receives only the fact of the purchase and never sees your card or name.

Local data

Settings, the saved game, statistics and achievements are stored only on your device and are removed with the app.

Sharing with third parties

Online data is processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions) under the Firebase privacy policy. We do not sell data; the only data that reaches advertisers is what the ad networks above collect when you choose to watch a video (Android).

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To delete your online profile in «Canasta Card Game: Hand & Foot» (anonymous account, name, rating, statistics), e-mail tsyrenovnik@gmail.com with your table name; it is deleted within 14 days.

What is deleted: the anonymous account ID, table name and avatar, rating, statistics, online game records and abuse reports linked to the account. Purchases are recorded by Apple or Google, not by us.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date.
